The Haunted Red Elevator

The haunted red elevator in Thamasat University , Thailand

14th October , the day of great sorrow in Thailand history because of the uprising that altered the Thai political system. Bloody and death body all over the places, including the university itself. It has been said that the day soldiers trooped into the university. A group of lecturers and students ran into the Art Faculty building and hidden in that’s elevator. The soldiers shot them to death right at the moment the elevator’s door was opened. That caused the small box full of soulless and bloody death bodies.

After the tragedy, the university cleaned the places to open for study again. They cleaned everything including the bloody elevator but the blood stain did not wash out. They finally brushed it with red color so that came to the name “Red Elevator”.

The “Red Elevator” came to haunted because it was many people felt the present of the death. Such as the story of a girl who went there to study , she use it alone but then when she looked at the mirror she saw many people stood behind. Many said that they saw ghosts when they use the "Red". Thamasat University replaced the “Red” with the new one but the red door still reside in 4^th floor of the Art Faculty until now.
